How this works

This index lists various model skis with users' optimal mount points for telemark bindings, relative to the manufacturer's recommended boot center mark.

Please take note of how mount point is described below. All values are boot center location (not pinline) with the occasional ball-of-foot (BOF) specification. Using tele boot center is a better way to describe a mount point on a ski because it disregards the boot size, and theoretically should work for both a small foot and a large foot. If you prefer the ball-of-foot on center-of-running-surface method, this data can at least help corroborate your measurements to confirm you're in the ballpark. BOF is a good method for tele mounting specification, but finding the BOF location on a boot is more difficult and less intuitive than boot center.

All lengths described are in cm, with negative(-) values indicating a relative offset toward the tail, and positive(+) values indicating a relative offset toward the tip, from the manufacturer's recommended boot center mark on the ski (0cm). Some skis have more than one mark, so this is noted where applicable.

This is a user-contributed reference based on experience and may or may not be optimal for you. In fact, multiple skis may be listed with different mount points enjoyed by different users. New Telemark Guide is not responsible for your skis should you drill holes based on this information and then not be happy with it. Please contact the source listed with any questions or clarification prior to drilling.

All mounting information below pertains to telemark bindings, not alpine or alpine touring bindings.
